Time Trials

Here is a link that will show you how to add Time Trial times to your meet for swimmers who were not able to make it to the actual meet.  Adding results to Time Trials

I also wanted to share a message from Swimtopia about the performance issues many of us experienced Saturday morning:

Many of your teams held time trials today, and we began receiving reports of slow performance at about 9:20 this morning.

Each weekend during meet season, our technical team is continually monitoring performance of our Meet Maestro meets, ready to make quick adjustments as needed. They saw that we had unexpectedly hit the limits of server capacity, and as a result, teams running Meet Maestro and families using the mobile app experienced poor performance for about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Once they had resolved the issue, they summarized today's problem:

We made some significant updates in the off-season and that resulted in different patterns of usage this season. While we tried to anticipate how traffic would change this year, we did hit the limits of our server capacity during today’s meets. We moved quickly to increase that capacity and ultimately quadrupled our capacity this morning, but that was a multi-step process. The good news is that the changes we made today should avoid any similar issues in the future. Additionally, we have pinpointed key parts where we can optimize performance even further in the future, and we will be addressing some of those issues over the next week, before Saturday's meets.

Our sincerest apologies for the troubles this morning. Meet Maestro's reliability and dependability are of the utmost importance to us, and please be assured that we addressed this morning's issues with absolute urgency, and will continue to make improvements throughout the week.
