STUS Processing challenges during meets

We have identified the issues with the slowness and being kick out that we all experienced last Saturday with STUS Meet Entries.  I wanted to update you on what we have done to eliminate that issue directly from STUS:

STUS added a new Database Server on Wednesday evening 5/26 essentially doubling the processing power for the website.

While the site may not perform faster in times of low traffic volumes, it will almost certainly exceed the needs of the high levels of traffic we have been experiencing on the last two Saturday morning meet days. Ultimately, the site should be able to keep up with high traffic volumes and continue to deliver the pages at a pace that is comparable to normal traffic days.

The issues were related to the overwhelming response and use of Meet Vision.  With over 16,000 swimmer, potentially 32,000 parents using it, it took a toll on the hardware.  So in English, they have added a brand new server with more power and more memory to handle the traffic.  Moving process like the database and meet vision to separate servers to handle it.
We apologized for the issue and expect this will not happen again.
