I know the season is fast approaching so I want to cover a few details with everyone.

NWAL Store
We have a NWAL Store on the www.nwal.org site.  This site has Official NWAL Merchandise for your Officials to purchase.  This will be sent to the buyers home and it only takes Credit Cards or PayPal for purchases.

Registration and Waivers
With Registration going on I know you may have a few waivers to put in as well as look at other waivers that affect your division.  Please get your waivers in ASAP.  The waiver needs to be processed first and then when it is complete you can take the money and sign up that swimmer onto your team.  Please do not sign up a swimmer and put them on your roster until the waiver process is complete.  Remember that just because you put them on the roster does not mean that the waiver will be approved.   Gather the families information and tell them to talk to the team that they are currently on and explain why they want the waiver.  This way the process will be much smoother for completion of the waiver. Also please check all Subdivisions when they register. If you see one that is a NWAL Swim Team please point them to the appropriate team.

Approving Waivers
Please log on often and check for waivers.  We need all those that are affected to please give your approval or disapproval for a waiver.  Make sure in doing so that you are using the reasons that are in the rule book on your decisions.

Training and Certification
Please promote the trainings to your teams to increase officials.  We have many trainings all over NWAL to choose from so they should not have a problem locating a training to get certified.  We handed out Rule books to almost all teams at the annual meeting.  Please give those to the officials before they attend the trainings.
